Seeds of the Future

I have mentioned yesterday about my visit to MSBI. I bought these packet of seeds at a very affordable price! P100 only! Now I'm into Project Gardening. ;)

From L to R: pechay, mustasa, talong(eggplant), radish, okra, upo, ampalaya(bitter gourd), squash, patola, sitaw

I wish I'd be successful on this...

Greenery

I have been wanting to plant veggies, but I did not have the will to start, until my son needs to submit as a project a pechay sprout that he has grown. So, this morning, I went off to Manila Seedling Bank in Quezon City. I thought it was just a typical landscaping garden that I see here in Marikina, but boy, was I wrong! It was big, and had so many stores inside. This is the first store that I went into and it took my breath away!

OT: Sabi nga ng husband ko, nag-a-ala- "chin chin" na naman ako. (Chin Chin is an actress here in PH who is very fond of anything "natural"). I am always mesmerized with trees, mountains, plants, flowers and is somehow trying to live an eco-friendly lifestyle. (This will come in another post... Cloth nappies, menstrual cups, and the likes).

So there, Day 1 of my Project 36 journey.
